It looks like blue is still dominating as the primary color for many of the orders were working on. For a while it was mainly blue with brown but now we're starting to see variations in the color combos such as blue & black and blue with silver... it really goes great with just about anything!

Friends, Sara and Kyle who stand here today about to be married have been created by many things. I not-so-secretly have a major crush on the fellas in "Mad Men." How much do you love this bridal party made up of men in gray suits? I'm kind of hoping this is what Sean and his man friends will look like the day I walk down the aisle.
Well, we've finally hung up some curtains and four whole pieces of art! LOL. We're getting there.
This is our bedroom. I'm in love with these sheers, which were discontinued at Target. They let the PERFECT amount of light in. The painting was a project for one of my drawing classes in college.
I dug out my beloved "A." That awesome vase was from a home decor store called Space in Staunton. The inside of it is bubble gum pink and the top is cracked like a dinosaur egg.
I have a weakness for silhouettes; these were from a defunct store in Dayton, Va.
Florida couple Emily & Andrew chose to use monogram 20C for their custom aisle runner. Every time a couple selects this monogram we get excited because the detailing of the flourish on the top and bottom are so much fun to create. Best wishes to Emily & Andrew for their July wedding!

I'm finding, as I get more into wedding blogs and magazines, that no idea I had is completely original. Google any creative thought you think you have, and you'll find someone who had it first. But I keep telling myself that's okay; as long as I don't steal from someone I know personally, I think we're good.
I had the idea to have a slight newspaper theme to our wedding, and the best way to apply that, I thought, would be with the Save-the-Dates. Ceci New York did this amazing fake little newspaper for a couple named Pam and Bryce, seen here. I love the little crossword puzzle and "coupons" for local hotels and vendors.

We were all wearing our lovely monogrammed slippers from Exclusively Sew, which was one of the gifts she gave us. I love gifts that are practical and can be used more than once. I wear mine all the time... in fact, I'm actually wearing mine right now :)
