Title: Cosmetic Lasers - Eliminate Cystic Acne and Scarring

http://amacorp.com

Acne treatments require specific lasers which target the bacteria that are infecting follicles, eliminating the infection without the need for antibiotics or medications like Accutane. A specialized BlueLight can also be used for this purpose. With the infection now in retreat, we use 1 or 2 additional lasers to shut down the inflammation that often accompanies acne and cystic acne. This will reduce swelling and remove redness and pigmentation.

In many cases, acne treatments are integrated with a package of silk peels (dermal infusion facials) administered by our certified Medical Aestheticians. The Dermal Infusion procedure infuses into your dermis a natural substance called Salicylic acid, which is clinically proven to further reduce acne and cystic acne breakouts. In this procedure, a precise amount of the dead layer of your skin (Stratum Corneum) is also removed, which promotes further healing and rejuvenation of your skin to its silky smooth radiant state. In addition, the Medical Aesthetician will customize an anti-acne daily skincare regimen for continued acne treatment maintenance.

Sesame-Orange Shrimp and Chicken Stir-Fry
Source: Cooking Light Magazine ~ June 2009

Ingredients

Sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (I didn't have ground so I substituted fresh and minced it)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dark sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red (Cayenne) Pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (14 oz.) can fat-free low sodium chicken broth
Stir-Fry
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 12 oz. skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli florets
  • 1 cup chopped carrot
  • 1 cup snow peas, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds medium shrimp, cooked and peeled
  • 3 cups hot cooked long-grain rice

What now?
  1. Whisk together all ingredients for the sauce together in a medium size bowl. Set aside.
  2. To prepare stir-fry, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a LARGE (I used the largest skillet I had) non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add Chicken to pan, stir-fry for 5 min or until chicken is no longer pink. Remove cooked chicken from pan, and set aside
  3. Add another 1 tablespoon oil to pan. Add chopped broccoli, carrot, peas, onion and garlic and cook for 5-8 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add cooked chicken and shrimp to skillet, and add prepared sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce thickens to desired consistency.
Serve Immediately over Cooked Rice

Weekend at Disneyland! - Friday at Disneyland

por | | 0 comments

So friday morning we woke up around 5:45 (Both of our alarms went off around 5:15 but miracously no one got out of bed until almost 6:00) We got going around 6:15 and made it up to Anaheim around 7:45. The hotel we stayed at was about 7 minutes away from the front door of the park. We dropped our car and stuff at the hotel and arrived to the entrance of Disneyland right when the park opened at 8am. We walked directly to tomorrowland and walked on Space Mountain, a great way to start off the day! We were at the park from the beginning of the day until the fireworks show at 9pm.

Weekend at Disneyland! - Friday at Disneyland

I wanted to get my picture taken with Mickey Mouse so once we went into Toontown we went to Mickey's house. We got to walk through the whole thing and see pluto's bed and Mickey's chair next to his fireplace! So cute. Then they filed us into the backyard and into Mickey's "movie barn" where we can watch cartoons while we wait to get out picture taken. I was the only person there over the age of 6 who wanted to see Mickey but I didn't care!

Title: Dancing Around Disneyland (to Holiday by Vampire Weekend)

http://www.facebook.com/DancingAroundDisneyland

Join us at Disneyland for the sequel in 2011!

My family and I had such a blast dancing around Disneyland to the tune (added later) of Holiday by Vampire Weekend. My 10-year old son filmed the video using a Flip Mino HD camera.

"Dance like nobody's watching, love like you've never been hurt, sing like nobody's listening, and live like it's heaven on Earth."

Special thanks to Walt Disney for making Disneyland a reality.
